Carol Gehringer is a K-12 librarian at a Christian school where she teaches media and information literacy, runs books fairs and reading promotions, and helps students find a book that is just right for them.
In her past life (i.e., before staying home to raise their children), she was a corporate librarian as well as an academic librarian. She has written numerous reviews and enjoys sharing her thoughts on books and reading.
She reads alot — and enjoys sharing her opinions about Christian fiction, young adult fiction, adult fiction for teens, and non-fiction. Carol writes reviews for CHRISTIAN LIBRARY JOURNAL, and her reviews are often re-posted on THE VESSEL PROJECT, Amazon, Christian Book Distributors, and Barnes & Noble. She is especially fond of speculative fiction, young adult fiction, and suspense/mystery.
Carol received her B.A. and her M. I. L. S. from The University of Michigan and holds a North Carolina teaching license, as well as ACSI library/media specialist certification.
In addition to being a voracious reader, she is mom to twin middle school daughters and a high school son — and wife to a college professor. She also likes to cook except on those busy school nights!
