Carol Gehringer is a retired K-12 librarian at a Christian school where she taught media and information literacy, rans books fairs and reading promotions, and helped students find a book that is just right for them.
In her past life (i.e., before staying home to raise their children), she was a corporate librarian as well as an academic librarian. She has written numerous reviews and enjoys sharing her thoughts on books and reading.
She reads lots of books — and enjoys sharing her opinions about Christian fiction, young adult fiction, adult fiction for teens, and non-fiction. Carol wrote reviews for CHRISTIAN LIBRARY JOURNAL, and her reviews are often re-posted on THE VESSEL PROJECT, Amazon, Christian Book Distributors, GoodReads, and Barnes & Noble. She is especially fond of speculative fiction, young adult fiction, and suspense/mystery.
Carol received her B.A. and her M.I.L.S. from The University of Michigan and holds a North Carolina teaching license, as well as ACSI library/media specialist certification.
In addition to being a voracious reader, she is mom to twin daughters and a son — and wife to a college professor.
