My Review

In The Crushing Depths, Coast Guard Investigative Officers Rissi Dawson and Mason Rogers are thrown together as lead investigators. The CGIS team works to solve the mystery behind the recent accidents offshore. Mason and Rissi have a shared history together that makes for some awkward moments. Will they be able to look beyond their past to meet the challenges of the investigation?

Pettrey writes a suspense-filled action-packed novel that will keep readers up late at night until they discover who is really behind it all. The novel kicks off with an explosion at an offshore oil platform, quickly followed by a CGIS rescue helicopter crash, ecology protestors whose tactics are questionable,  a supposed curse, a possible stalker, a poisoning, and more. There are enough things going on that guessing who is behind it will be difficult!
