Award-winning author Ronie Kendig continues her action-filled  science fiction / space opera series with this third installment, filled with intrigue, and adventure

In Shadow of Honor, Marco Dusan is held captive by an alien race bent on destruction of Dusan’s world. He is willing to sacrifice his life to save his world, despite telepathic distress calls across space from his expectant wife who is facing a war on their planet.

Eija Zacdari is also imprisoned on the same spaceship. When she forms a bond with one of the alien creatures, it may prove a way to bring things to a head, but will it be enough?

Ronie Kendig excels at creating a world filled with alien and human characters, each with their own languages and customs. On top of that, she writes a story that includes dramatic relationships, interplanetary battles, and non-stop adventure, all elements of a good space opera, making this more than just a science fiction/fantasy series. Her characters – both alien and human – are complex, adding to the drama and adventure.

This book ends on a cliffhanger, and the reader will be eager to read the fourth book in this series. If one hasn’t read the earlier books, read Brand of Light (1) and Dawn of Vengeance (2) before reading Shadow of Honor (3), as each novel builds on the previous one.

Recommended for fans of epic fantasy, science fiction, and space opera, especially Kathy Tyers fans.
